APPLICATION PROCESS

- Admissions
- University or college admissions hinge on your previous educational history, work experience, and language proficiency. STUDY PERMIT
- A study permit is essential for foreign nationals wishing to study at designated learning institutions (DLIs) in Canada under the following conditions:
- The program duration exceeds 6 months.
- The program includes a co-op internship.
- A minor is accompanying a parent(s) visiting Canada
- The individual is from a visa-exempt country.
STUDY PERMIT
- The Student Direct Stream (SDS) is a streamlined process designed for legal residents of select countries, including China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, and Vietnam, to facilitate their study permit applications for Canada.
Eligibility Criteria for SDS (Student Direct Stream)
- To qualify for the Student Direct Stream (SDS), applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Country of Residence: The applicant must be a legal resident of one of the following countries: China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, or Vietnam.
- Duration of Study: The intended program of study in Canada should be for a duration of more than 6 months.
- Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC): The applicant must obtain a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution, with a minimum investment of $10,000 CAD.
- Tuition Payment: The applicant should have paid the full tuition fees for the first year of study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada.
- Medical Examination: If the applicant has resided in or travelled to a designated country for six consecutive months within the past year, they are required to undergo a medical examination conducted by an IRCC authorized panel physician.
- Language Proficiency: The applicant must demonstrate language proficiency in English or French. They need to achieve an overall band score of 6.0 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no individual band score lower than 6.0, or attain a minimum ability score of 7.0 on the Test d'évaluation de Français (TEF) within the past two years.
- Educational Transcript: Provide a recent educational transcript as evidence of academic qualifications.
- Letter of Acceptance: Possess an official letter of acceptance from a post-secondary Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada.
